In addition to the above, the course is designed to help students better understand how best to communicate with stakeholders to address and influence both substantive and relational issues as well as identify stakeholder-related risks. This course also includes tools and techniques to help creatively problem-solve and make business decisions based on objective criteria related to stakeholder issues and concerns.
For maximum impact and real-world application, the students should come prepared to use one of their current or upcoming projects for the Stakeholder Analysis. This will enable them to complete a Communication Plan and Stakeholder Engagement Action Plan in support of the stakeholders analyzed.
Below is an outline of the topics to be covered in this two-day course. Course can be modified for client-specific classes by adding an assessment to better understand and relate to the “human factor.” (2 ½ days)
