Course Description: 
This one-day course is designed for individuals seeking a free, yet compatible,   alternative Microsoft Office. OpenOffice is the leading open-source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It stores all your data in an international open standard format that can easily be shared with virtually all other applications. Participants will get a hands-on, broad-brush overview of the complete OpenOffice suite including simplified download and installation instructions. This class is applicable to all professions from all industries, including CPAs in practice and CPAs in industry.

·          Discover the similarities and differences between OpenOffice and Microsoft Office.

·          Learn how to download and install OpenOffice suite from the internet.

·          Get hands-on instruction for a general overview for each application in the suite.
