Course Overview/Who should attend:  

This seminar is intended for corporate controllers, tax managers, accountants, attorneys, and other corporate finance executives looking to develop an understanding of how the U.S. taxes income from foreign operations. Learn the basics of International taxation, global tax planning as well as the key issues involving the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004.  Participants will learn vital information they need to help their company or client structure a successful cross-border business merger or acquisition.  Nearly all corporate restructures or acquisition of any size involves issues of international taxation, and the rules that govern acquisitions and reorganizations have changed significantly in the last few years.  This course will address those changes and how they affect the way you do business.
